Appointments
We know you have many choices when choosing a Dentist in Northridge , CA so we have made requesting an appointment a simple process via our Web site. If, for any reason you cannot keep a scheduled appointment, or will be delayed, please call us as soon as possible.
Insurance and Billing
We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. Kidz Dental Care does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.
Insurance Carriers
We accept most indemnity and PPO insurance plans. We will estimate your insurance co-payment which will be due when treatment is rendered. When it comes to estimating insurance payments or coverage, we must stress the word "estimate" as insurance companies continue to surprise us. If the insurance company pays more than expected, you will receive a credit. If they pay less than expected a balance due will be reflected on your statement. If they deny your eligibility after the fact, or do not pay within 60 days, the balance becomes your responsibility.
Payment Options
At the onset of your child's treatment, we will provide you with an estimate of the total fees expected. Please understand that this is an estimate only. Treatment sometimes changes for a variety of unforeseen reasons. We have several payment options available to our parents. You may use cash, check, or credit/debit card to make payments the day of service. For your convenience we accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. We are very pleased to offer you a monthly payment plan through Care Credit, which provides you with a "Dental Credit Card". If you choose the Monthly Payment Plan with Care Credit, we can process the application in our office in just a few minutes. Most of the time we can get an answer that very day. As a courtesy, we are happy to bill your insurance for you and only expect your estimated portion on the day of treatment.
Scheduling Details
We take great pride in our office and offer personalized service and gentle dental care to each child. Our office is specifically dedicated to children and we make every attempt to stay on time, however, some children may unexpectedly require more time than others. Because we realize your time is extremely valuable, we will inform you of any unforseen delays. Rest assured that you and your child will recieve our full attention. If your child is experiencing a dental emergency, we usually will offer an appointment on the same day. In the event you need to reschedule your child's appointment, we request 48 hours notice to reserve the time for another patient or attend to an emergency. Please understand all children in our practice attend school and most of our parents work. Although we take into account both work and school, it may be necessary to schedule morning appointments.
